Artist 9.2 tested on this Mac. Other editions need validation.
For a later insert: find instances first, open your chosen Real-Time X in Pro Tools, then capture it here. Keep that plug-in selected until Send or Undo. Switching plug-ins cancels the capture.
Analyze a beat and find your Auto-Tune instance.
Logic always requires an explicit destination choice. For other DAWs, one compatible instance is selected automatically. With more than one, choose the track and slot yourself. Nothing is sent until you press Send. Re-find instances after moving or replacing an effect.
Each DAW uses its own local connection. It does not broadcast to Console or other Auto-Tune instances, and it does not need Enable Auto-Key turned on. Retune Speed and Detune stay as you set them. FL Studio setup → · Other DAWs and editions →

Choose 8–90 seconds with a clear melody or chords.
The estimated frequency of concert A.
The shift from standard A = 440 Hz.
Results will include section agreement and any tuning uncertainty.
These describe the notes that fit the beat. Major, minor, and modes such as Dorian can share the same notes. Possible modes use bass and characteristic-tone evidence; the musical center can still be ambiguous. For a possible mode, Auto-Tune settings use an equivalent major/minor note set. Check the suggestion by singing along.
440 Hz is the usual reference for A. Cents measure the offset from that reference: 100 cents is one semitone. A negative estimate means the tuning is lower than standard.
Start with 20–60 seconds of melody and chords. Drum intros, pitch bends, changing keys, and differently tuned samples can make a single answer unreliable.
This is an experimental estimator. It is not affiliated with Antares or Universal Audio and has not been benchmarked against Auto-Key. Reference tuning is estimated relative to the nearest semitone; the original tuning convention cannot always be inferred from a recording.
